Sticker Sheet for StickerApp
THE CHALLENGE
I am pretty much obsessed with stickers and I feel my work is made for them, so I couldn't be anything less than a fan of StickerApp.
Every month StickerApp highlights the "Artist of the Month" in the form of a Thank You Card and guess what, this month they asked me to design it!
The card gets then sent out as a freebie with every order during the month - so if you are planning on ordering stickers in February 2023, you'll get mine.
THE OUTCOME
Sticker App asked me to work around the undiscussed February theme: love, but of course with a sassy edge. I've decided to illustrate objects referring to different kind of dates: the ones where you get heartbroken and the ones where you are the heartbreaker.
I've experimented adding neon pink to my usual pastel color palette so that we could print with the special neon paper StickerApp offers in their catalogue. I also lately found myself trying out patterns as illustrations backgrounds, so I added it here as well so that it could somehow hint that all these objects are displayed on a blanket, as if it was a picnic.
